We are very pleased to announce that John will also be introducing teachings from his new book “Cultivating Natural Liberation: Teachings on Reconnecting with the 3 Natures”.  The expanding international community of Way of Nature (WoN) (www.wayofnature.com) that has evolved from John's teachings is an exciting adventure using the best of social media integrated with regular practice and trainings in pristine Nature throughout the world.

Kashi fire pujaCome for an immersive weekend away from secular life and enjoy the warm embrace of kindness from the entire Kashi community. Drop your bags and your worries, all you need is contained on the 80 sprawling acres of sacred land along the beautiful Sebastian River... Delicious organic vegetarian meals made with love by Kashi’s head Swami Chef, sunrise yoga on the dock, perhaps a walking meditation through the labyrinth, or just time to sit and reflect in one of the many temples, all while being challenged, inspired, and delighted by the teachings and stories of our rare living Sage/Activist, Shaman, Spiritual Teacher, Vision Quest Leader, Tai Chi and Qigong Master, and pioneering ecologist, John P. Milton. John teaches world-wide and has authored numerous books, articles, DVDs and audiotapes. His Tai Chi and Qigong DVDs and his book "Sky Above, Earth Below" are available from Amazon.

Surrounded by the sacredness of the Kashi Ashram, John will teach a very rare Tai Chi form. Unlike all other Tai Chi forms that are focused on martial applications, TCL is a form used for Taoist internal cultivation for natural liberation. We will draw upon this powerful and effective Tai Chi meditative practice to arrive at a deep connection to our True Nature.

Practitioners around the world rely on Tai Chi to maintain physical health and well-being, but few realize that certain forms of Tai Chi offer an even more profound benefit: spiritual evolution. And opening the Path to the Tao. With this Tai Chi for Liberation workshop, John reveals this vital practice missing from most Tai John Milton Tai Chi Chi in the West. Also known as "Wuji Tai Chi," this secret practice is reputed to have been created at Wudang Mountain in the 13th century by the legendary Taoist master Chang San Feng.

During this retreat you will learn:

  • The Earth Form for absorbing qi to energize your physical and energy body.
  • The Heaven Form for cultivating celestial qi, and the qi of the eight directions, to nourish your spiritual essence.
  • Practicing both forms together to harmonize the body and soul - the Tai Chi path to enlightenment.

With Tai Chi for Liberation, John P Milton presents a movement-based path for attaining inner peace, physical health and spiritual awakening. You will discover the benefits of this easy to learn form immediately as you unblock and purify your meridians, gather and refine your Qi, and ultimately cultivate deep levels of clarity and bliss.

John will also be introducing teachings from his new book “Cultivating Natural Liberation: Teachings on Reconnecting with the 3 Natures”. This book is the distillation and refinement of his Way of Nature core teachings. These secular teachings draw upon what is common among the world’s most profound traditions for spiritual awakening: Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, Tantric, Vedantic, Bon, and Shamanic traditions.

Sliding scale of $108 through $504 and beyond...

In these days when many of us discuss income inequality, we once again struggle with how to charge a fair price to make this program available to all while honoring a holy person. True to the shamanic tradition, John has never asked for a fee for these weekend workshops, instead simply acccepting what we've been able to raise. JOhn just turned 80 years old on November 30, 2018, and we want our community to honor his life's work with an appropriate financial blessing by .deciding what you can afford in your honest budget based on a sliding scale of  $108 through $504, $405, $306, $207, or $108. Remember, you are the one receiving the Blessings!
