This program is available to those who have completed at least
one Sacred Passage and wish to enter more deeply into the direct experience of
Primordial Source Awareness. A wonderful opportunity to cultivate the
realization of one's essential union with Gaia (Mother Earth), this special
six-week process includes a 28-day wilderness solo with (2) three-night/four-day
intensive rites of passage (no sleep, no food, little water, no shelter, in an 8-foot circle).

“Participants observe their solo in the sanctity and secure
embrace of Southern Colorado's majestic Sangre de Cristo Mountains.”
During the two weeks before and after the 28-day solo, John combines a unique
training process, specifically designed for this longer program. The
Intermediate Training includes advanced practices in the cultivation of
Universal Energy, transformation of the emotions, and assists in the realization
of a profound awakening of one's inherent, pristine awareness. John will also
offer rare teachings from various shamanic and tantric traditions. Participants
observe their solo in the sanctity and secure embrace of Southern Colorado's
majestic Sangre de Cristo Mountains. A significant portion of this training is
refined to support individualized needs and opportunities for deepening
spiritual growth.
Unlike the NatureQuest and Sacred Passage programs, which are
relatively gentle and easy for almost anyone to do, the Intermediate Awareness
Training is much more rigorous, requiring considerable preparation and prior
work with The Way of Nature.
During the Intermediate Training, John will visit participants
in their wilderness solo camps to help refine the training process. Two
three-night vision quests are a required practice during the solo. One takes
advantage of the brightness of the full moon and the other takes advantage of
the darkness created by the new moon. These are classical rite of passage quests - no food, little water, no clothing (only one blanket or
sleeping bag), no shelter, and no sleep. Participants remain within an
eight-foot circle, continuously alternating between meditation, universal-style sacred ceremony, energy cultivating practices from the Taoist Way and interfaith prayer.
This program offers a powerful opportunity for deepening
communion with Nature, cultivating Universal Energy and realizing Source. |
