We at the Way of Nature see a crucial need to create opportunities for young people to connect more deeply with themselves, with spirit, and with Nature. We have designed and developed our Young People's Program to create a strong community of young people who experience the profound transformational support that Nature continuously offers. Nature provides an extraordinary seed of support during the time of young adulthood, when many core changes are taking place on all levels of being.
Unfortunately, there is an immense lack of powerful and meaningful rites of passage in our present culture. Few spiritually true vehicles exist to aid young people in opening their insight and inner vision. This contributes to a profound sense of loss, meaninglessness, and spiritual void for many youth today. We believe that young people are the future leaders of our planet, and that they embody potential deep power and tremendous spiritual insight that should be held in a place of respect and honor in our communities. Helping that true insight to open is one of The Way of Nature's highest priorities. 
“How do we empty our world so we can create new possibilities?”
We have designed Sacred Passages for young people to specifically address the unique and extraordinary opportunities of young adulthood. A supportive Awareness Training Intensive, combined with a solo in Nature, offers young people an opportunity to meet and embrace their fears and intense emotions with a sense of self-empowerment, trust, and profound support. Each person's alone time in Nature, and the Spiritual Source that gives birth to all Nature's forms, helps birth a much vaster sense of who and what we all are. The experience of connectedness with all life breaks through the aloneness of adolescence and transforms isolation into all one ness.
Doing a Sacred Passage serve as a fundamental rite of passage to mark the transition into adulthood. The Passage offers young people the opportunity to listen to their soul and the whispers of the Earth to understand their unique gifts. They gain insight into how they can contribute to our world. A Sacred Passage offers the irreplaceable perspective of life direction from personal alignment with Source. This new perspective comes as the layers of external influences gradually fall away into timeless Nature. A Sacred Passage offers intimate support for young people to embrace dynamic challenges with a sense of deep connectedness, communion, and greater meaning. They learn to live from their core.
To offer young people this precious opportunity, financial support is greatly needed. Young people themselves often have limited financial resources. We actively welcome your financial donations for the Threshold's Young People's Scholarship Fund (fully tax-deductible as a project under Threshold, a 501(c)(3) type organization). Your financial gifts and contributions will enable a profoundly positive transformation for each young person enabled to do a Sacred Passage. Although we welcome any young person who wishes to participate in a Passage, we are particularly interested in working with groups of young people and organizations that already have pre-existing young people's groups established. We welcome schools, church groups, youth clubs, social organizations, and any other groups of young people who are interested in experiencing a Sacred Passage.
