Creating a library at the Sacred Passage Sanctuary is a primary goal for our Way of Nature Fellowship. Daniel Quinn, author of "Ishmael," observed: “humankind is not alone on planet Earth. We are part of a community upon which our lives depend absolutely”. This echoes the sacred view and spoken teachings that everything is interdependent and interconnected. So to are all the programs and projects of the Way of Nature. Most of our programs depend upon oral presentations designed to help keep ancient wisdom teachings alive. Of course, cultural and spiritual values are also preserved and transmitted through the written word. For the past 45 years John P. Milton has amassed an extraordinary spiritual library now in need of a home. More than thirty thousand volumes comprise this rare collection.
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” - Gandhi
A preliminary design for the Way of Nature library and study space is based upon Sacred Architecture. To complete this project, $250,000.00 will be required. Please talk with us about how you can help. We are open to creatively explore fresh new ways of funding this project. Innovate sources of revenue may be required to accomplish our vision and we welcome your suggestions, referrals, bequests and personal contributions.
