DVD/Video/Film

Our video projects are produced in-house for full DVD distribution. We have three projects currently in production, and three projects in active development. The following is a breakdown and description of what we have in the works:

Sacred Land Trust Video
Overview/Description: An inspiring journey to one of the most sacred tracts of land in the American Southwest. John Milton takes the viewer on a guided walk through the sacred land of SunCircle, located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Crestone, CO. Highlighted are several ancient meditation seats, dragon currents, and a kiva. John discusses the importance of these finds and why they should be protected.
Format: DVD
Shooting Format: Anamorphic digital video
Running Time: 15 minutes
Purpose: Fundraising
Status: Completed January 2003

Multi-Camera Angle T'ai Chi DVD
Overview/Description: John Milton demonstrates the various forms and practices of T'ai Chi. Through the use of Multi-Angle DVD, the viewer will be able to choose the appropriate angle to enhance his/her learning. For example, click on track one with your DVD remote and watch John do the form in a wide shot. Click on track two to watch the upper torso, track three to watch the lower torso, track four to watch a close up of his hands, track five to watch the form from behind, and so on. A bonus chapter reveals John describing the principles of T'ai Chi.
Format: Multi-Angle DVD
Shooting Format: digital video
Running Time: 45-60 minutes
Purpose: Teaching
Status: Shooting and editing complete. Requires encoding, authoring and replication. Will be completed by February 2003 and will be gifted to students embarking on the Four
Year Advanced Training.

5-Part DVD Qi Gong Series
Overview/Description: John Milton and four qi gong practitioners demonstrate the various forms and practices of Qi Gong. The nature based energy cultivation practice of Qigong has been used for centuries to improve overall health, enhance mental clarity, and increase longevity. The first Qigong Set of 3 DVD's was released in fall 2005, in collaboration with Sounds True. This Qigong Series is entitled: "Qigong for Long Life." The individual Qigong DVDs of the Set are entitled: "Develop Qi Strength and Power," "Cleanse and Build Inner Qi," and "Cultivate Longevity." Several more DVD's of other Qigong forms are still under production.

Purpose: Teaching Qigong
Status: 90% shooting complete. Logging complete. Preliminary edit. Additional footage from China was shot in November 2005 for a T'ai Chi companion DVD. The first three DVDs on Qigong were completed and published in fall 2005.

Teachings on Sacred Stones Video
Overview/Description: Visit ancient, pre-Anasazi stone meditation seats on the sacred land of SunCircle, located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Crestone, CO. John Milton takes the viewer on a guided walk through this mystical land, revealing the secrets behind this power spot and sharing the teachings of the stone seats and dragon currents.

Shooting Format: Anamorphic digital video
Running Time: 180 minutes
Purpose: Teaching
Status: Shooting and logging complete. Requires edit, encoding and replication

Sacred Passage Awareness Training Video
Overview/Description: Travel with John Milton as he teaches Sacred Passage's Awareness Training, with accompanying practices, in such varied locations as Bali, Ireland, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Tibet, and the United States. The Awareness Training incorporates the Twelve Principles at the core of Sacred Passage: that all form is interdependent, interconnected and constantly changing; that each individual make a clear commitment to full Liberation in this lifetime; Decontraction and Relaxation; Non-distraction and Presence; Cultivating Universal Energy; Flowing in Union with Universal Energy; Resting in the Radiance of an Open Heart; Cutting through to Clarity and Spaciousness; Returning to Source Awareness; Resting in Union with Source; Spiritual Warriorship.

Status: Project in development

Vasudev Vision Quest Film
Overview/Description: An independent feature based on the multi-dimensional experiences of the Sacred Passage teachings and solos.
Format: Theatrical, DVD, Video
Shooting Format: anamorphic digital video
Running Time: 90 minutes
Purpose: Entertaining, Inspiring
Status: Project in development

Studio Quality Photographs
Thousands of studio quality photographs documenting John P. Milton's lifelong dedication to Nature are available for limited print editions. An initial investment of time and financial resources for cataloging, reproducing and framing this extensive body of work is required.
